Occultation Group

Several members of the Astronomical Society of South Australia have a continuing interest in observing various types of occultation events. These occur when a body such as the Moon, a planet, or an asteroid passes in front of a star.

Members interested in observing minor planet occultations should contact Joe Grida for observing tips and charts.
