2027 Council nomination

Deadline: midnight Saturday 17 October 2026 (South Australian time).
Complete one nomination for each position. This online form is the preferred method.

Have your membership number and a brief supporting statement ready. You must be a current ASSA member. Read the Council role descriptions before choosing your position.

Ask your seconder to confirm online

Ask another current ASSA member to complete the separate seconder form themselves. Give them the exact name and position used on your nomination so the Secretary can match the two submissions.

Second a nomination

Both your nomination and the seconder's confirmation must reach the Secretary by the deadline. The Secretary will match the records and check membership eligibility. Your supporting statement may be shared with members if a vote is required.

Email backup for seconding: If your seconder cannot use the online form, they can email secretary@assa.org.au with your name and nominated position, their own name and membership number, and confirmation of their support. An existing email confirmation does not need to be submitted again online.
