Date: Friday, 11 June, 2021

Time: 7:30 PM

Venue: Tooperang Hall

Each month, the Society runs viewing nights and other activities for the benefit of its members. Dark sky locations are conveniently located North, South and East of Adelaide. All sites are open at least once a month, and members are welcome to bring their own telescopes.

Stockport has a BBQ and coffee/tea facilities, which are usually fired up before sunset on scheduled members' nights. This provides members with an opportunity to socialise and share stories.

Please note that BBQ use is NOT allowed under current COVID Safety Rules.

Stockport Observatory is the Society's primary observing facility and is located north of Adelaide.

Tooperang Observing Site offers a dark sky site south of Adelaide.

Meldanda Observing Site is located in the River Murray Dark Sky Reserve east of Adelaide.

The Society has a number of Regional Branches that regularly hold meetings and viewing nights in their local area. Each group has a number of assorted telescopes.

In addition to general viewing nights for members, the Society also runs other activities for members including workshops and regular meetings for its Special Interest Groups.
